DOC Quarterly Food Program:
 
Residents of Georgia Correctional Institutions: The items in this catalog are considered Food Quarterly Package items and have been approved by the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). Union Supply Direct accepts web, mail, phone and fax orders from individuals on the offender’s approved visitor’s list.
 
ORDERING PERIOD: Orders accepted October 3 – November 3, 2022
All orders must be received by Union Supply Direct by November 3, 2022. Orders received after this date will not be processed.
 
Order Limit: A Department of Correction’s offender may receive multiple orders up to 15 lbs. (240 ounces) or $100 of product, whichever is reached first. For offenders located at the Detention Centers, an offender may receive up to 7 lbs. (112 ounces) or $50 of product, whichever is reached first. These max limits do not include shipping fees.
 
Update: Bainbridge Probation Substance Abuse Treatment is now allowed to purchase up to $100 worth of product.
 
Ineligible inmates: Eligibility to participate in the Food Package Program is determined by facility level. All inmates placed in a Tier status are ineligible to participate. Union Supply verifies inmate eligibility before shipping packages.
 
PRODUCT: Union Supply Direct attempts to show and describe merchandise and all related information as accurately as possible. However, Union Supply Direct does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of our catalog, order form or website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. In addition, manufacturers may make changes in product design, color, package size and style at any time. Union Supply Direct reserves the right to update or correct item information and to change prices and offers at any time. If a product offered by Union Supply Direct is not as described, your remedy is as follows: (1) immediately return it, unused, upon receipt while complying with your facility’s rules and regulations. (2) If an item is unavailable for any reason, we will obtain approval by the Georgia Department of Corrections to substitute with an item of equal or greater value. We regret any of these changes and make every effort to ship the proper product that you request.
 
PAYMENT METHOD: Union Supply Direct accepts the following forms of payment: credit card, personal check or money order (must be domestic, printed in the U.S.) or cash payment through ACE Cash Express. We accept all major credit and debit cards with the following logos: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. The following forms of payments are not accepted: Green Dot, Cash App, Apple Pay. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact card holder name, billing address, CVV code and telephone number that your credit card issuer bank has on file for you. Your credit card will be billed upon placement of your order.
 
SHIPPING: ALL orders are subject to a $2.95 shipping fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
 
DELIVERY: All packages will be delivered by December 19, 2022. The institutions will distribute the packages accordingly, shortly after their arrival at the facility. Please check the FAQ section on our website for your loved one's facility delivery date. All facility delivery dates are subject to change.
 
CANCELATIONS: Please Note: All credit card order cancelations are sent via email to the customer. Please ensure to check your spam folders prior to the ordering period ending. Please whitelist customerservice@unionsupply.com to avoid any emails from Union Supply going to your spam folder.
 
RETURNS & REFUNDS: Used or abused items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Please check all your items upon receipt. If any of these items are found to be missing, defective or damaged in shipping, please notify a facility staff inventorying your package immediately. Damaged or defective food and hygiene items will be refunded. Non-food items may be returned for a refund or replacement. If the original payment was made by credit or debit card, approved refunds will be credited back to the card used in the original purchase, including prepaid credit and debit cards.

DOC Property Monthly Program:
  
Ordering Limits and Restrictions: The items in this catalog are considered Property Package items and have been approved by the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). Union Supply Direct accepts web, mail, phone and fax orders from individuals on the incarcerated individual’s approved visitor’s list. Catalog items and pricing are good for a 6 month period.
 
Georgia PROPERTY Package Regulations:
1. Eligible incarcerated individuals may receive one (1) property package per year month.
2. Some property items have purchase limits by quantity and time frame limits, please see chart below.
4. Incarcerated individuals’ ability to receive an order will be verified before orders are shipped.
5. GDC allows individuals on incarcerated individual’s approved visitor’s list to place orders.
6. Certain items may be deemed gender specific and can only be purchased for the designated gender.
7. Incarcerated individuals housed in Georgia Detentions Centers are not allowed to participate in the Property Package Program.
 
Ineligible incarcerated individuals: Eligibility to participate in the Property Package Program is determined by facility level. Union Supply verifies incarcerated individual eligibility before shipping packages.
 
ORDERING PERIOD: Ordering begins November 1, 2022- April 30, 2023. Delivery of packages will be scheduled with each facility on a weekly basis. Please check the FAQ’s page at www.GAinmatepackage.com for more information regarding delivery.
 
PRODUCT: All Property Package items must have the item number, quantity, description, and price. Union Supply Direct attempts to show and describe merchandise and all related information as accurately as possible. - Print the order summary page; you will need this when making the payment.
Go to ACE Cash Express to make the payment. You will need to provide them with the following:
- Confirmation/Sales Order#, Exact Dollar Amount of Order, Incarcerated individual’s Last Name & ID Number.
Be sure to keep the receipt provided by ACE Cash Express, for record of your payment. Allow 2 business days for payment to be applied to the order. Full payment must be received by April 30, 2023 or it will be cancelled. All refunds will be processed by Union Supply Direct and sent to the customer on file for the order. SALES TAX: Sales Tax is required by the state of Georgia. State taxes vary by location of each individual facility. Please see the tax information on the order form for the specific tax rate for your facility.

How to calculate Sales Tax: To calculate sales tax amount take the item total plus the shipping fee and multiple it by the tax rate at the incarcerated individual’s facility. Example: Georgia State Prison $65.00 (item total) + $3.95 (shipping fee) x .08 (tax rate) = $5.52 | $65.00 (item total) + $3.95 (shipping fee) + $5.52 (tax) = $74.47 (order total)
 
SHIPPING: Union Supply is required by the state of Georgia to collect sales tax on all orders and shipping fees. Shipping for all orders is $3.95. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please reference the tax chart provided noting the facility’s tax rate.

Layaway Program: Place your order with us today via our mail, website, fax, phone, and activate your Layaway Plan.  Make weekly, monthly payments, selecting the payment interval that best meets your needs.  Our Layaway Plan provides a monthly statement that is sent to you the first of each month throughout the duration of your layaway plan.  This is a free service at no additional cost to you.  This plan allows you the flexibility to make any payment, any amount, at anytime.  Multiple family members can pay for your order as well.
